The single player mode has six levels, each inspired by a different movie genre. The player must complete the stunts as requested by the director in each scene in order to succeed. The game also features a new "strike" system, which is new to the series. The player is given a certain number of strikes, which go down if they mess up a stunt. If all the strikes are depleted, the entire scene must be reshot, and the player must start the level over. There also is the multiplayer mode, where the players can choose from two sub-modes- one, where the players try to do the most stunts per lap, and the other, a simple racing mode. When compared to the previous game in the series, Stuntman, Stuntman Ignition features several advantages, including improved graphics and physics.
