Spongebob Squarpants: The Yellow Avenger
$20.00
Released November, 2005
The Pros:Does a good job of blending platforming with classic point-and-click adventure gameplay. Very accessible for casual gamers while still offering a bit of fun to those more experienced. Clever use of the touchscreen makes performing more basic actions fun.
The Cons:Not enough objects available to interact with--usually, if you can interact with it, you need it for the story. Platforming is way too floaty to be comfortable--even if the game does take place underwater. Instructions are sometimes a bit vague on where to go next.
A 3-D platformer that plays in a 2-D format, you control Spongebob Squarpants on an adventure to save Mermaidman from the evil Dirty Bubble and all of the other evil villians under the sea. The touch screen controls Mermaidman's utility belt, which is now in Spongebob's posession (the belt activates weapons and superpowers).

Touch controled minigames are added to the mix as well (like turning on a light switch).
