Sonic and the Black Knight maintains its predecessor’s platforming and speed via primarily 3D gameplay, but also adds along swordplay via the Wii Remote. In addition, Sonic (BK) features a skill system based on being either a Knight, Cavalier, or Paladin. Depending on one’s choice, Sonic will function at a certain speed and power. Some skill-sets offer swords and boomerang attacks, whereas others feature ‘Chaos Powers’, lunge attacks, and fire. Sonic and the Black Knight offers both single-player and a multiplayer mode. In fact, up to four players can play at once. Sonic and the Black Knight retails for $39.99.
