A sequel to Sacred, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is in fact a prequel that takes place approximately 2000 years before the events of Sacred. However, Fallen Angel ditches its predecessor’s isometric projection in favor of a full 3D display powered by a new game engine. In fact, Fallen Angel boasts realistic physical features, high-resolution animations, and entirely 3D action. Fallen Angel also includes Dolby 5.1-channel surround sound, two campaign modes (‘Light’ or ‘Shadow’), six playable characters, modifiable combat skills, and multiplayer game-play via LAN, the Internet, or Xbox Live. As for the storyline, Fallen Angel involves either choosing to heal or destroy the land, which is currently absorbed in gaining power of T-Energy. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel retails for $59.99.
