Key to Prototype is freedom, as users decide how they want to handle situations. They can merely attack an enemy compound, or they can sneak inside and “exploit the infrastructure.” Plus what the user chooses to hunt is up to him or her, in that a user can choose which side to partner with or against—including the Army’s special forces, the virus, etc. Along the way users can unlock more and more exotic powers, such as air dash/glade, elbow drop, whiplash, etc. Overall the game is recommended for users looking for constant action and adrenaline, versus plot.
