Painkiller: Resurrection is a single player first person shooter that was built in collaboration with Studio Med-Art  with a Catholic priest advising the entire thing to keep to the medieval ideas about hell, purgatory and Dante's Inferno in sync.

The details in the game were researched extensively to make the enormous explorable regions of the game filled with monsters and demons galore. Painkiller: Resurrection can run off of a computer with 1.5GB of ram, a 2.4 GHz processor, and 6GB of free hard disc space but for quality game play it needs something a little more powerful, such as a 2.6 GHz processor and a full 3 GB of ram. The video game has online gaming capabilities that may require different requirements out of a computer.
