Overlord 2 is a third person fantasy action adventure game developped by Triumph Studios and published by Codemasters for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft windows.  This is a sequal to the game Overlord, and has similar gameplay in which you control an Overlord and his minions, however this version has an increased scope from the original concept with improved AI and a more attractive visual experience.

The story follows the events of the first Overlord game, and this time around players will control the original Overlords son, known as the Overlad. The game puts you against rival races such as Gnomes and environmental activist motivated Elves which adds elements of politics, environmental issues and other world problems on top of the core fantasy gameplay.

The minions this time around are smarter, deadlier and ready to fight in large scale battles putting their wild pack mentality against the organised legions of the Glorious Empire. The warped humour has also returned with minions being funnier than ever.  The minions are also able to ride wolves and other magical creatures making them faster and fiercer warrior when entering battles.
