Overall, it handles on the court just like the previous iteration; whereas other series — such as NBA Live and NBA 2K — are about improving graphics and realism, SCEA is more focused on adding more clever mini-games. Additional notable features include expanded commentary with both Ian Eagle AND Kenny Smith; an Ad-Hoc multiplayer mode; and a few new Quest Modes, including Dodge, Give & Go, and MiniQuest.
