Monster Hunter Tri

Monster Hunter Tri is a 2010 action role-playing game by Capcom, released in April 2010 for Nintendo Wii. As the third installment in the Monster Hunter series, this game requires players to complete quests either in offline-mode or online-mode.

When using the free online service, up to four players can attempt quests together. Online gameplay supports Wii Speak, a VoIP technology that allows players to communicate with each other while in-game. There is little story or character development in this installment of Monster Hunter, because the primary focus is on combat and item collection. Expert reviewers indicate that this game is not pick-up-and-play, and requires a large time commitment in order to progress through this relatively difficult game. Monster Hunter Tri is compatible with the Wii’s Classic Controller Pro and the Wii Remote/Nunchuk.
