Meteos
Released June, 2005
The Pros:Gameplay well suited to the DS's two screens and touch screen. Unique concept for a puzzle game. Lots of room to improve skills at comboing and playing quickly.
The Cons:Base gameplay concepts are more complicated than those in Tetris, Panel de Pon, Puyo, etc.
A puzzle action game featuring aliens! Your objective is to match up three or more colored blocks, each color representing a different "element", to turn them into rockets. These rockets will blast upward, carrying every block above with them.

The blocks will then impact the aliens planet, eventually destroying it. If there are too many blocks above the rockets however, the entire structure will come crashing back down. Every planet has unique gravity and its own special music. The higher the gravity, the less blocks that can be carried on the rockets. You can unlock additional planets and goodies by firing a certain number of elemental blocks into the alien planets.
