Mario Kart DS
$35.00
Released November, 2005
The Pros:Solid mix of tracks: open & straightforward, highways, tangled indoor settings, etc., plus retro tracks from previous MarioKart games. Has download & play capability for multiplayer. Good variety of playable characters and karts and combinations thereof.
The Cons:Battle mode is difficult; spend more time trying not to drive off the edges than attacking foes. Larger hands can become cramped after heavy gameplay utilizing lots of turbo slides. Online play could be more robust.
The multiplayer favourite comes on the DS. This game combines many of the tracks, characters and weapons from the past Mario Kart games and introduces new features that take advantage of the DS' abilities.

Howlsthunder:
#mario_kart_ds One of my favorite games of all-time. My only complaint is that I preferred the way battle mode was handled on the Nintendo 64 version a lot better, both in regards to the way balloons work but also in that kart weight class changed how you fought one another whereas in the DS version there seems to be no difference.
