The story centers around the kingdom of Lanzheim and involves a plethora of intense themes: love, war, hate, politics, and sacrifice. And unlike traditional RPGs, Magna Carter II introduces a dynamic battle system that combines strategic turn-based battle concepts with real-time gameplay. The user controls three party members and can switch which member he/she is playing, as well as customize the AI engine on how to handle the other members. As for skill-set, it is primarily focused on Kamonds — vessels that contain Kan, a ‘power’ that can be utilized to strengthen weapons, improve character stats, and build new accessories.
