Overkill is in fact a 'prequel' to the main story-line and takes place in 1991. It involves Agent G (protagonist) being sent on a series of assignments on the streets and swamps of Bayou City. Essentially a rail-shooter game, Overkill tries to go for a B-Movie / Tarantino / Grindhouse feel. Due to "blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, sexual themes, and strong language," Overkill is rated "M" by the ESRB and should preferably be played only by 18+ adults. In regards to gameplay, Overkill offers both single-player and multi-player gameplay through the Wii remote and in fact offers 'motion-based melee moves' through the remote's built-in infrared tip and accelerometer. The House of the Dead: Overkill retails for $29.99 and can be found at any gaming retail out.
