$40.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Great graphics. Runs fast at 60fps. Great for just picking up and playing - no need to dedicate serious time or worry about getting things done to have fun.

The Cons:No awards for completing challenges. No car damage. Poor for hardcore players and series fans that want progression through their game experience.

Gran Turismo PSP is a handheld racing game released for Playstation Portable in early October 2009. It is in fact the 5th major release in the Gran Turismo series and is available in two formats: as a Universal Media Disc (UMD) or as a digital download from the Playstation store.

The main purpose of the game is to complete driving missions and slowly advance to the top. On the way, users can collect over 800 licensed vehicles; trade and share cars with their friends via an Ad Hod wireless connection; compete with their friends in heated 4-player races; and eventually transfer their collection to Gran Turismo 5. Gran Turismo PSP actually includes over 100 challenges with 60 total track layouts. The actual design is fairly “open-ended” though, as players themselves choose which mode — time trial, single race, drift trial — and circuit to race.
