Gears of War 2

 A tactical third-person shooter, Gears of War 2 is the sequel to Gears of War. The plot line develops from the previous game, where mankind is fighting an alien species called the Locust, only now they've started to make giant holes in the ground, some large enough to sink cities.

A fairly standard game, Gears of War 2 offers overwhelming swarms of enemies that promise to make the player feel fairly macho when managing to somehow survive the unbeatable odds. The gameplay is pretty much the same as the first game with a few additions such as tapping the 'A' button to crawl faster and an increased level of blood and gore. It is safe to say that if the consumer enjoyed Gears of War, then Gears of War 2 is a good buy. It is not recommended for consumers who don't enjoy shooting games, or prefer to play a sniper instead of the machine gun meat grinder this game offers.
