Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is an action RPG video game developed and published by Square Enix on March 27th of 2009 for Nintendo DS & Nintendo Wii. It features a revolutionary ‘Cross Platform System’ Pollux Engine that makes gameplay between Wii and DS possible via wireless communication.

This allows gamers to play with their friends on a local network, or login via Wi-Fi and play with anybody in the world. As for the storyline, Echoes of Time is essentially a coming-of-age story involving a young hero who leaves his hometown in search of a cure for what turns out to be an ancient disease. The player has an option of choosing from one of four different tribes, such as the “sword-swinging Clavats” or “spell-casting” Yukes.
