Disgaea DS

A port of the cult-classic PS2 title, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Disgaea DS retains all the tactical insanity of the original while adding many new features. At it's core, Disgaea is a tactical RPG where players control Laharl, prince of the Demon World, and his ever-increasing army of vassals.

Players customize their army by creating new characters and training them in various skills all while fighting through dozens of missions and challenges. The core tactical RPG elements are similar to those found in other games, but this augmented by several unique features, such as the ability-altering Geopanels, the ability to throw other characters around, and a huge amount of depth and customization that is unmatched in the genre. All of this is wrapped around a unique story with a lighthearted attitude that should appeal to fans of this sort of quirky humor. The DS port adds a secondary mode in which the main character and storyline changes, several new unlockable characters, and touch screen support.
