Counter-Strike: Source
$20.00
Released September, 2004
The Pros:Never gets boring despite simple game mechanics. Online play scales upwards into infinity. Doesn't require the latest cutting edge computer.
The Cons:Lots of waiting between rounds if you die early. Limited weapon type. No single player - online multilayer only (requires internet connection).
Released in August of 2004, Counter-Strike: Source is a remake of the orginal Counter-Strike 1.6 based on the new source engine produced for Half-Life 2. Featuring improved graphics, physics, and hitbox accuracy (all thanks to the improved engine) the game is essentially the exact same, down to the official maps.
