This game is one out of the Battlefield series and was produced by the Swedish gaming company DICE, the game differs from the others in the series because of it's way to not belong to our time.
The year is 2142, several nations are at war with each other, an age of the highest possible technology.

#battlefield_2142 Great multiplayer FPS of all time? I'm going to have to disagree with that. A game that shares much in common with BF2142 but was 10 years ahead of its time takes the cake. Starsiege: Tribes. But Battlefield games are still great, just not the greatest :)

#battlefield_2142 i've been playing games since the atari 2600. i have a 2-digit steam ID.
this is the greatest fps multiplayer game of all time.
just one example: the smarter player will beat the player with better aim or lower ping.

#battlefield_2142 All I've ever known this game to do is lag the moment you try to make it challenging by adding more enemies, have lame online multiplayer, and no real campaign. I'd put my money into something else. But maybe I'm wrong.
